Holding on to Principles in Times of Change – 
Lise Demant shares her perspectives guiding career principles

Dear WIS Members,   

We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Breakfast Club, featuring a talk by Lise Demant.

The idea behind these events is to gather in a smaller group and have interesting conversations during a cozy breakfast prior to heading to work.

At every gathering there will be one key speaker joining with a topic, but also time for a round-table discussion with no set agenda.

Lise will share her personal principles and explain why it is essential that we all have principles and hold on to them as a guiding handrail to navigate us forward, especially in situations with dilemmas and headwinds.

About Lise Demant
Lise Demant, Managing Director of Svitzer’s business in Europe and a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, has spent over 25 years in shipping. As a MISE graduate, she was brought up in Maersk, Maersk Tankers and Svitzer, learning both the commercial and operational parts of shipping and later leading a business. Throughout her career, she has adhered to a few key principles of career and leadership, which she believes are a primary reason for her numerous great personal and professional opportunities. 

We are looking much forward to hearing Lise share her perspectives, and potentially have some personal discussions in this closed forum.

The agenda for the two hours will look like this:
08.00 – 08.45 – Welcome, breakfast and networking
08.45 – 09.45 – Speak by Lise Demant, incl. discussion time
09.45 – 10.00 – Summary and closing

Space is limited to 25 persons and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the Breakfast Club will be on your own account and must be paid when signing up.

Furthermore, in case of unforeseen events hindering the speaker in participating, we will still carry on with the Breakfast Club on a networking basis with topics and inspirational questions provided by WIS.
