Invitation - Breakfast Club
Building Culture in Times of Transformation –
Mia Krogslund Jørgensen shares her personal insights on leadership, strategy, and culture in an ever-changing industry
Dear WIS Members,
We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Breakfast Club, featuring a talk by Mia Krogslund Jørgensen – a leader with a remarkable journey in shipping.
Mia will share her personal experience from within the shipping industry – from trainee to executive – and reflect on what it means to build culture and lead with purpose in a company undergoing rapid transformation.
Her talk will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Hafnia’s evolution, but also explore the leadership challenges, strategic decisions, and cultural shifts she has helped shape along the way. You can expect honest reflections on navigating growth, mergers, and public listing while staying true to a people-first philosophy in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
Breakfast Club philosophy
The idea behind these events is to gather in a smaller group and have interesting conversations during a cozy (seated) breakfast prior to heading to work.
At every gathering there will be one key speaker joining with a topic, but also time for a round-table discussion with no set agenda.
About Mia Krogslund Jørgensen
Mia Krogslund Jørgensen has built a remarkable career in shipping. In 2012, she joined Hafnia as Executive Assistant to CEO Mikael Skov – a role that opened the door to strategy and leadership. From there, she moved into the role of Executive Project Manager before stepping into her current position as Vice President, Head of People, Culture & Strategy. With a background in international marketing and a sharp eye for leadership, Mia plays a central role in shaping Hafnia’s strategic direction and culture.
We are looking much forward to hearing Mia share her perspectives and have some personal discussions in this closed forum.
The agenda for the two hours will look like this:
08.00 – 08.45 – Welcome, breakfast and networking
08.45 – 09.45 – Speak by Mia Krogslund Jørgensen, incl. discussion time
09.45 – 10.00 – Summary and closing
Space is limited to 25 persons and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the Breakfast Club will be on your own account and must be paid when signing up.
